Taiko Drum Master
One night after having dinner with fellow ALT, Parry, he suggested that we go to the game center at the mall to play taiko. I had not heard of this game before but I was happy to give taiko a try. So, off we went.

I think this is a popular game as it sits beside the ubiquitous purikura (print club) sticker booths in the game centre at Roman City. The game has lots of J-Pop, anime, classical music and even Toxic by Britney Spears. You can play at three levels: easy, average and difficult. In order to receive a chance to play another song, you must pass the song with about 80-90%. If you are able to drum along with the rhythm of the song then you will pass. Pink beats are in the centre of the drum and blue beats are on the top edge. You can play by yourself or in duets. Luckily, even if you play a duet with a beginner like me, as long as one person passes the song, you can receive another. This game could become addictive so watch out but I really like it because it has a good deal of musicality and requires good hand/eye coordination.

Parry is so good at this game that I think he should be nicknamed "The Taiko Drum Master". He has a musical background and practices on the Donkey Kong bongo game. It`s really fun to watch him play!
